The princess and the pea syndrom

3/6/2014

In the fairy tale, ''the princess and the pea'', the way to understand that the host was a true princess was her discomfort from a pea placed under 12 layers of matterass. NOw that we know that we are all princes & princesses, we should absolutely value the importance of a good rest, invest in a good bed, but also learn how to relax. (Also in a yoga sequence, many people under-estimate the importance of savasana).
Anyway, it may happen that some blue-blood focused hosts place a pea under our matterass, and as yogis, we should be strong, right?
For that, , would suggest to emphasize some anti-backpain postures:

1/FORWARD BEND
2/DOWNWARD FACİNG DOG WITH WALL SUPPORT
3/BOAT POSE
4/SPINAL TWIST
5/CAT
6/CHILD'S POSE

try to hold these poses for 10-15 breaths everyday, integrating them to your daily sequencing. Princesses complain, yogis prevent! :)
Namaste,
Meriç
