What is Yoga?
Yoga is a self-discipline, a methodology to have the optimum performance of one's body_ which is, the vehicle of the soul. By acting as a routine to lubricate joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons and other parts of the body, circulation and flexibility is increased. Pranayama, the knowledge of proper breathing, which comes along whith the asanas (yoga postures), helps the body to connect to the solar plexus, source of high potential energy. Proper breathing has high results on the body & mind. Yoga also teaches proper relaxation. This is an effective method of recharging. Meditation purifies the intellect and puts you in control.

-muscle fatigue is countracted through proper breathing and relaxation.the integration of savasana avoids the building up of lactic acid, in opposite to classic physical culture.

-can be beneficial for back problems such as kyphosis, lordosis, scoliosis.
